I made this Mother’s Day card today. I made two, one for my mom, and the other for my wife’s mom. I used Parallel Pens and gel pens. My wife punched out the corners with one of her Stampin’ UP! corner punches.<\/p>\n

A friend and I went to Walmart, where we ate lunch. Then while he went shopping, and I stayed behind at the table practicing calligraphy with my Shaeffer pen and 3×5 cards while looking through my iBook copy of Lisa Engelbrecht’s, Modern Calligraphy and Hand Lettering <\/em>on my iPod touch. I got the idea of breaking up the lettering from one of the samples in the ebook.
